Planting Requirements

Plant Royal Velvet lavender in full sun where the soil drains quickly after rain. Lavender performs best in sandy, gravelly, or otherwise well-drained soil and should not be planted where water stands around the roots.

Provide adequate spacing for air circulation and future growth. Water regularly while plants become established, then reduce watering as the plants mature. Our Royal Velvet does very well in dappled sun.
