Organically Grown Lavender, Pollinator Plants & Cottage Goods from Michigan's Upper Peninsula
Certified Michigan nursery specializing in hardy lavender, pollinator-friendly plants, and handcrafted farm goods.
Pause Lavender Farm
Welcome to Pause Lavender Farm, a certified Michigan small-scale nursery located near Rapid River on the beautiful Stonington Peninsula in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
Founded in 2019 as Delta County's first lavender farm, Pause Lavender Farm specializes in organically grown lavender, pollinator-friendly plants, woodland garden plants, culinary lavender, handcrafted gifts, and seasonal cottage food products.
As we planned future lavender fields, we discovered how much wildlife depended on the land throughout the year. Instead of expanding production into every available space, we adapted our plans around the wildlife and ecosystems already here. Today, our gardens and growing areas coexist with year-round deer habitat, native pollinators, songbirds, and a USDA-recognized pollinator garden.
We use organic growing practices, never use pesticides, and focus on plants selected for northern climates and Upper Peninsula gardens.
Whether you're looking for cold-hardy lavender plants, pollinator-friendly perennials, culinary lavender, handcrafted gifts, or products inspired by Michigan's Upper Peninsula, we're glad you're here.
