Shipping Plants from Pause Lavender Farm
At Pause Lavender Farm, we are a licensed and certified small-scale nursery in the State of Michigan. Every plant is carefully inspected and monitored throughout the growing season so you receive healthy, vigorous plants ready for success in your garden.
Plant shipping regulations vary by state and province. To comply with agricultural requirements and help protect native ecosystems, we ship plants either bare-root or in growing medium, depending on the destination.

Whenever possible, we ship plants without pots because it offers several advantages:

- Allows us to focus your purchase on the plant—not unnecessary packaging
Each plant is carefully packaged to protect its root system and retain moisture throughout its journey.
Shipping Schedule
To help ensure your plants spend as little time in transit as possible, we ship on Mondays and Tuesdays. This helps most orders arrive before the weekend.
Federal holidays, severe weather, or carrier delays may occasionally require adjustments to our shipping schedule.
When Your Plants Arrive
Please open your package as soon as possible after delivery. If you are not planting immediately, keep the roots moist and store the plants in a cool, shaded location until they can be planted. Detailed planting instructions are included with every order.
