Provence Lavender Plants | Lavandin

Provence is one of the world's most popular lavandin varieties, prized for its exceptionally long flower stems, intense fragrance, and abundant blooms. Originally selected for the famous lavender-growing region of Provence, France, this beautiful hybrid is an outstanding choice for fresh bouquets, dried arrangements, fragrant hedges, pollinator gardens, and landscape plantings.

Its long stems and highly fragrant flower spikes have made Provence a favorite for lavender farms, home gardeners, and floral designers alike. We love Provence because it adds a different, more delicate, shade of purple among the other lavender plants.

Planting Requirements

Plant Provence lavender in a location that receives full sun and has excellent drainage. Like all lavandins, it performs best in sandy, gravelly, or lean soils and should never be planted where water collects around the roots.

Allow approximately 36 inches between plants to encourage healthy air circulation and provide room for mature growth. Water regularly during establishment, then reduce watering as plants become established.
